Morpheus —

We're a team of 47 motivated undergraduates from Netaji Subhas University of Technology, who are passionate about space exploration and technology. We're proud to present our latest rover, Pegasus. Pegasus is the result of hard work and dedication of the highest quality from our team members. We, Team ARES, stand confident that our efforts will help Pegasus to bag laurels at the highest level.

Description

Custom Arduino-based PCBs are designed and Jetson Xavier has been used as a central hub that will send commands to all the sub-systems. We have chosen to use a 2.4 GHz & 5.8 GHz Antenna. Rover can easily communicate up to 500 meters. We have implemented the Graphical user Interface using Electron JS. It includes the display of motor speeds, video streams, sensor data along fan and ambient lighting control. The software framework runs on Jetson Xavier which has 6 core Nvidia Carmel ARM. A custom inverse kinematic design on ROS with a closed-loop feedback drive has been developed.
